What's your Vision Linda-Heather.jpg

Volunteers and advisers are critical to the grassroots work we do.

For students,  volunteering is a great opportunity to gain valuable professional experience and real, hand-on planning and design expertise.  Often students have gained course credit or are able  to access federal work-study paid internships where available.

Experienced professionals help us support communities with technical assistance such as donated or "low-bono" services in planning and design, photography, research, etc. It's a great way to give back to the community and support emerging community leaders and students to build their skills.

Advisers help with strategic planning, connecting with community partners and supporting us with their expertise as community leaders in a variety of fields including areas such as public health, development, planning and design, public engagement and policy.

We benefit greatly from guidance and technical skills offered by our all our community volunteers.
